About Kyiv Lyceum of Business

We educate for the world students will help create.

Founded in 1991, KLB is the first private specialised school in Ukraine created for ambitious teenagers and the integration of secondary and business education.

Educational profile

One programme. Three dimensions.

Our educational model connects academic standards, management preparation and personal development so students can learn, think and act with confidence.

LEARN

A strong academic foundation

State-standard curriculum with in-depth English, emphasis on mathematics and Ukrainian, enhanced NMT/DPA preparation and selected subjects taught in English.

THINK

Management and project thinking

Economics, business, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, project-based learning, career guidance and senior-year business internships.

ACT

Leadership in real situations

Communication, emotional intelligence, design thinking, time management, teamwork and purposeful action supported by mentors and practitioners.

Our learning environment

Small enough to know every student. Ambitious enough to open the world.

Up to 20 students learn in each class. Mixed-age teams work on projects and creative challenges. Tutors, mentors and psychologists support both learning and wellbeing.

Our Kyiv campus includes multimedia classrooms, sports and fitness facilities, a cinema-concert hall, an educational library hub, a cafeteria and a fully equipped shelter where classes can continue during air-raid alerts.

Selected achievements

Experience that partners can build on.

Our strongest achievement is a culture where high expectations, practical learning and international openness reinforce one another.

Since 1991

35 years of integrated secondary and business education

KLB has developed and refined its proprietary “A Leader in Everyone!” and General Management Training approach across generations of graduates.

Academic outcomes

Consistent preparation for national examinations and university entry

Students regularly practise examination formats, compete in subject olympiads and the Junior Academy of Sciences, and nearly all graduates continue to prestigious universities in Ukraine and abroad.

International network

European exchange, dialogue and collaboration

Experience includes Youth in Dialogue, German–Ukrainian youth exchanges, Model UN, U18, eTwinning and school partnerships in Germany, Poland and England.

2025

Recognition for international dialogue

Dr Olena Sukhenko, KLB English and CLIL teacher and Ukrainian coordinator of Youth in Dialogue, received the EURIADE Badge of Honour for her contribution to youth cooperation.

Development direction

Four priorities guide our next chapter.

They grow directly from the Lyceum’s current educational model and the collaboration opportunities we are seeking.

01

Internationalise everyday learning

Expand sustained school partnerships, multilingual projects, student mobility and teacher exchange so international learning becomes a regular part of the curriculum.

02

Deepen entrepreneurial agency

Connect student startups, financial literacy and social entrepreneurship with international mentors, schools, universities and businesses.

03

Strengthen future-ready competencies

Develop critical thinking, ethical technology use, media literacy, creativity, dialogue and the ability to collaborate across difference.

04

Build resilient learning communities

Share practice in wellbeing, inclusive education, psychological safety and continuity of learning in uncertain conditions.

A partner with purpose

We know who we are — and we are curious about what we can build together.
